Palak publicly apologises

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak has publicly apologised before the nation for his failure to ensure uninterrupted internet connection and to prevent rumors on social media.

The state minister made the apology while he was speaking at a discussion marking the National Mourning Day at his residence in Natore on Friday afternoon.

“I am shouldering all responsibilities for my failure to ensure uninterrupted internet connection and to prevent rumors on social media. I promise to accept any decision that comes from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for my failure,” he said.
