Students, police clash in Sreepur, trader killed 

Students and police clashed in Sreepur of Gazipur on Saturday.

A trader named Zakir Hossain, 43, was killed during the clash took place on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway.

Zakir hailed from Satkhira district and used to live in Kewa Bepari area of Sreepur municipality.  

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Thana Akbar Ali Khan said Zakir was not killed in police firing. He died after being hit in head during running. 

But protesters said he was killed in police firing.
