HSC, equivalent exams postponed for sine die

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations that were earlier suspended due to the situation created centring the quota reform movement has been postponed again for an indefinite period.

The Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Education Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday (August 7).

The rest of the HSC examinations scheduled to begin on August 11 has been postponed for an indefinite period due to an unavoidable reason, the notification said.

The new schedule for the postponed examinations will be notified later, it added.

Earlier, the HSC examinations were postponed several times following the countrywide recent violence centring the quota reform movement.
