Clashes at Chattogram Central Jail

Heavy clashes took place at the Chattogram Central Jail under Kotwali Thana on Friday noon.

Locals heard sounds of gunfire after Jumma prayers. Later, army personnel reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

According to locals, miscreants attacked the main gate of the jail. Prisoners locked in clashes with the jail guards in a bid to flee from the jail.
