Woman, two sons hacked to death in Panchagarh

A woman and her two children were chopped to death my miscreants in Kurulia village of Balarampur union under Atwari upazila of Panchagarh on Wednesday (August 14).

The deceased were known as Taslima Akter, 35, and her two sons Saikat, 12, and Sayham, 9.

Police and local sources said a neighbor of the victims noticed the dead bodies around 11:00 pm first. Later, following his screaming, locals rushed to the spot and informed law enforcers.

Confirming the matter, Atwari police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Musa Mia said legal steps are being taken in this regard.
