Ex-MP MA Latif arrested, 7-day remand sought

Police have arrested former lawmaker from Chattogram-11 constituency MA Latif.

Double Mooring police arrested Latif on Friday night from Bayezid Bostami area of the port city.

MA Latif was shown arrested in a case of instigating the shooting in the student movement and later sent to Chattogram Metropolitan court with seven-day remand prayer, said Fazlur Quader Patoari, officer-in-charge (OC) of Double Mooring Police Station.
