3 members of a family killed in Cox’s Bazar landslide

Three members of a family were killed in a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall, in Pekua upazila of Cox’s Bazar early Sunday (August 18).

The incident took place at Jaralbunia area in Shilkhali union of the upazila around 2am.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pekua Police Station Mohammad Ilias confirmed the news.

On information, police rushed to the spot and found that three members of a family were killed in the landslide.
