Ex-MP Mahbubul Alam Hanif, 75 others sued 

A case has been filed against 76 individuals, including former Awami League MP Mahbubul Alam Hanif and several other prominent figures in connection with the killing of Yusuf Sheikh, 66.

Victim’s daughter, Seema, filed the case on Monday with the Kushtia Model Police Station.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the police station Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The case has also named an additional 20 to 30 unidentified persons.

Yusuf Sheikh was shot dead during the anti-discrimination student protest in Kushtia on August 5.
