2 motorcyclists killed in Madaripur road crash

Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Bakharerkandi area under Shibchar upazila of Madaripur on Tuesday (August 20).

The deceased were known as Hasibur Rahman Mollah, 26, and Masud Hossain.

Highway police and local sources said an unidentified vehicle hit the motorcycle from backside on Dhaka-Bhanga expressway around 8:00pm, leaving Hasibur dead on the spot and injured Masud critically. Later, he was sent to Shibchar upazila health complex and shifted to Dhaka. But the victim succumbed to his injured on the way to Dhaka.

Shibchar highway police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Shakil Ahmed confirmed the matter.
