Two die in Cox’s Bazar flood 

Two people have died in flood caused by upstream water and heavy rainfall in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar. Two people are also still missing.

The water level of Matamuhuri, Bakkhali and other rivers has significantly increased.  

According to sources, four people washed away.  Later, two bodies were recovered on Thursday. The deceased are Amjad Hossain, 22, and Choching Rakhain, 55.

According to Met office, 235mm rainfall was recorded in last 24 years in the district.
