Mufti Jashimuddin released on bail

Mufti Jashimuddin Rahmani, who was arrested in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act, was released on bail from the Kashimpur High Security Central Jail in Gazipur on Monday (August 26).
He was released from the Kashimpur High Security Central Jail at around 11:15am.
The Jailor of Kashimpur High Security Central Jail, Mohammad Lutfor Rahman, confirmed the matter.
Mufti Jashimuddin, son of Nur Mohammad from Barguna Sadar, faced a total of four cases, including those under anti-terrorism and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) laws.
Jailor Mohammad Lutfor Rahman of Kashimpur High Security Central Jail said that Mufti Jashimuddin was granted bail in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act with Uttara West police station filed on February 6, 2008.
He was granted bail in the case on Sunday (August 25).
Other cases against him have been withdrawn. After verifying the bail documents, he was released.
