Female journalist`s body found at Hatiljheel lake

The police recovered the body of a female journalist from Dhaka's Hatirjheel area early Wednesday (August 28).

The deceased was known as Rahanuma Sarah, 32, a newsroom editor of GTV.

Mohammad Sagor, a jaywalker rescued her first and sent her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 2:00am. Later, duty doctor declared her dead.

DMCH police outpost in-charge Mohammad Bacchu Mia confirmed the matter.
