Flood victims will return home very soon: Relief Adviser

Disaster Management and Relief Ministry Adviser Farooq-e-Azam has said flood victims will be able to return home very soon.

“I have visited the flood-affected areas. The flood situation is improving. I hope that people will be able to return home very soon”, he said.

The adviser said this while talking to journalists after visiting a relief distribution center set up by Bangladesh Army in Lakshmipur town on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Suraya Jahan, Police Super Mohammad Tareq Bin Rashid and Lt. Col. Majedul Haque Reza were also present.
