4 of a family killed in truck-microbus collision in Narsingdi

Four members of a family were killed and four others injured as a microbus collided head-on with a truck in Narsingdi.

The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in front of passport office in the Daguaria area of Narsingdi around 9:30pm on Saturday (August 31).

The deceased were identified as Kamrun Nahar, 35, Tanzina, 24, Sabiha, 14, and Sajit, 12. All are the residents of Abdullahpur village in the Char Subuddhi union of Raipur upazila in Narsingdi.

Md Zakir Hossain, a physician at the district hospital, said the four people were brought dead at the hospital. After providing primary treatment, the injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital and their conditions were critical.
