Mother, son among 3 found dead in Cumilla

Three people, including a mother and her son, were found dead in Boro Ghagutia village under Homna upazila of Cumilla on Wednesday night (September 5).

The deceased were known as Mahmuda Aktar, 35, wife of Shahparan, their nine-year-old son Saad, and their niece Tisha, 14.

Cumilla senior assistant police super (ASP Homna circle) Mir Mohsin confirmed the matter this morning.

Locals said that the victims were sleeping at their room as usual yesterday. Miscreants fled the scene after killing them at night.

ASP Mir Mahsin said noticing the bodies this morning, locals informed police station. The bodies were sent to Cumilla medical college hospital for autopsy.
