Earthquake felt in Rangpur 

A mild magnitude earthquake shook the Rangpur area on Friday night.  

The earthquake, measuring 4.1 magnitude on the Richter Scale, was felt at 8:28 pm.

According to Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), the epicenter of the earthquake was in Samsi area of Bhutan, about 21km east of the capital. 

The earthquake was felt several seconds. 

However, no casualties have been reported so far.
