Bullets fired from Myanmar aiming trawler in Saint Martin`s 

Bullets have been fired from Myanmar aiming a passenger trawler coming from St Martin’s to Teknaf. 

The incident occurred near the Badramokam estuary of the river Naf on Tuesday morning.

While no casualties were reported, the trawler was hit by bullets in several areas.

General Secretary of  St Martin’s Service Trawler Owners Samity Mohammad Jahangir confirmed the news, adding that the situation on the Teknaf-Saint Martin route has again become concerning.

Teknaf Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Adnan Chowdhury said he heard the matter.
