BSF hands over teenager boy Jayanta`s body after killing

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over the body of a 15-year-old Bangladeshi boy, who was shot to death in BSF firing, to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) early Wednesday (September 11).

The victim, Sree Jayanta, was the son of Sree Mahadev Kumar.

Police said that the body was scheduled to return Tuesday evening but BSF took more time and returned it to the victim's family after completing the necessary procedures around 2:00 am.

Baliagangi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Feroz Kabir confirmed the matter.

Earlier on September 9, BSF killed Jayanta, hailing from Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon district, along India’s border with Thakurgaon.
