3 family members die in landslides at Rohingya camp

Three members of a family died in a landslide at a Rohingya camp in Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar early Friday (September 13).

The deceased were known as Abdur Rahim, 31 a resident of Block E-2 of 14. no. Rohingya camp at Palongkhali, and his two sons Abdul Hafiz, and Abdul Wahad.

Confirming the matter, Shamsud Doza Nayan, Additional Commissioner of the Cox's Bazar Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Office, said two more people also received injuries in the incident.

Law enforcing agencies are conducting rescue operations, he added.
