‘Police who haven’t resumed duties yet won’t be allowed to join’

Home Adviser Brigadier Lt General Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that the policemen who have not resumed their duties yet will not be allowed to join work again.

The adviser said this while addressing reporters after a passing out parade of 40th BCS (Ansar) cadre officers and 25th batch (male) sepoys of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party (VDP) at Kaliakore in Gazipur on Wednesday (September 18).

He said that the policemen who have not resumed their duties yet will not be allowed to join work again. Disciplinary action will be taken against them.

"They are hiding because they must have been involved in some misdeeds," he added.

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury also said that the number of such policemen who have not joined yet is very low. We are searching for information about them.
