Section 144 imposed in Khagrachhari

Three people were killed in clashes between small ethnic groups and Bengali community in Dighinala of Khagrachhari district on Thursday afternoon.

In a bid to keep law and order situation under control, the local administration of Khagrachhari on Friday imposed Section 144 in the district. 

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Md Shahiduzzaman confirmed the matter. 

The curfew will remain in force from 2:00pm to 9:00 pm.
