Former state minister Mahbub Talukder no more

Former Minister of State for Water Resources and Member of Parliament of Patuakhali-4 Constituency, Mahbubur Rahman Talukder, has passed away.

He was 76.

Mahbubur Rahman Talukder breathed his last at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital on Sunday noon (September 22).

Brigadier General (retd) Habibur Rahman, younger brother of Mahbubur Rahman, confirmed the news.

He had been battling pneumonia, heart disease, and diabetes for an extended period and was admitted to a hospital in Dhaka about a month ago.
