3 RMG workers killed in Manikganj road crash

Three women garment workers were killed and at least 19 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Manikganj on Thursday morning (September 26).

The deceased were Fulmoti, 35, wife of Baten, Sabina Akter, 22, wife of Sabbir Hossain, Bithi Akter, 35, wife of Iqbal Hossain.

Golra highway police station OC Md Ibrahim said the accident took place around 6:30pm, leaving a person dead on the spot and another died at hospital.

Shivalaya upazila health complex doctor Shammi Akter said twenty injured people have been given treatment after the accident.
