Lt Tanzim Sarwar murder: Another accused arrested

The joint forces arrested another accused in connection with the killing of Lt Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon in Chakaria of Cox's Bazar.

The arrestee is known as Md Sadek, 41, son of Fasiakhali area of the upazila.

RAB-15 Battalion senior assistant director and additional police super Md Abul Kalam Chowdhury, confirmed the matter around 10:30pm on Thursday (September 26).

RAB said that during the initial investigation, the arrestee has confessed his involvement with the murder.

Earlier, the law enforcers arrested six suspected killers including the main accused Md Babul alias Babul dacoit.

Lt Tanjim, 23, was stabbed to death during a drive to prevent a robbery in the upazila early Tuesday.
