Lt Tanjim murder: Two more accused arrested

Joint forces have arrested two more accused in connection with the case filed over the murder of Lt Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon in Chakaria of Cox’s Bazar.
They were arrested from Cox’s Bazar’s Chakaria upazila in the early hours of Saturday (September 28).
The arrestees are Nasir Uddin, 38, son of Abdul Malek and Enamul Haque, 50, son of late Nurul Alam. They are residents of Chakaria upazila.
Senior Assistant Director and Additional Police Super M Abul Kalam Chowdhury of RAB-15 confirmed the matter on Saturday (September 28).
So far, nine persons have been arrested in Lt Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon murder case.
On September 24, a group of seven or eight robbers attacked Lt Tanjim Sarwar at Chakaria upazila when he chased them during a joint drive in the upazila. At one stage, they stabbed his neck and Tanjim died on the spot.
