Two children drown in Karotoa

Two children have drowned in the Karotoa river in  Gobindaganj upazila of Gaibandha.

The accident took place on Monday noon at Satana Balua village under Darobasto Union of the upazila.

The deceased were Abu Bakkar, 8, son of Bulu Mia of that village, and Hossain Mia, 7, son of Bulu Mia of Kunderpara village under Phulbari Union.

According to their family, the two children went to bathe in the river near their house around noon. At that time, they drowned in the water. 

Later, their relatives recovered their bodies.
