Six members of a family burnt to death in Sunamganj

Six family members were killed after a fire broke out in a house of Ashrayan project in Sunamganj's Dharmapasha upazila early Tuesday (October 1).

The deceased were known as Emarul Mia, 40, his wife Poli Akter, 25, and their children Polash Mia, 12, Farhad Ahmed, 10, Fatema Akter, 5, and Omor Faruk, 3.

Dharmapasha circle assistant police super Ali Farid Ahmed confirmed the matter to risingbd.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately. Details can be said after investigation, he said.
