Import-export through Hili Land Port resumes

Import and export activities resumed through Hili Land Port (HLP) in Hakimpur upazila of Dinajpur after one-day shut on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti festival.

However, it was normal for passengers with passports to cross between the two countries through the immigration check post of the port.

Sakhawat Hossain Shilpi, President of Land Port Import-Export Group confirmed the matter on Thursday noon (October 3).

He said import-export activities remained suspended on Wednesday (October 2) marking the occasion. Imports, exports, customs clearance, loading and unloading of imported goods resumed this morning through the land port.
