Two tourists die in Mirsarai waterfall

Two tourists drowned in Rupsi Jharna, a waterfall in Mirsarai of Chattogram of Friday noon.A rescue team from the Mirsarai Fire Service and Civil Defence recovered the bodies at around 2.00pm.

Imam Hossain Patwari, the station officer of Mirsarai Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter.

The tourists’ identities have yet to be confirmed.

According to eyewitnesses, the two individuals had been visiting the waterfall but tragically drowned, prompting a rescue operation by the fire service.
