Former Planning Minister Mannan hospitalized 

Former Planning Minister and Member of Parliament of Sunamganj-3 constituency MA Mannan has been sent to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital on Saturday (5 October) after he fell ill in Sunamganj jail.

Resident physician of Sunamganj District Hospital Dr Rafiqul confirmed the matter on Saturday.

The former minister was first taken to the hospital on Saturday morning due to chest pain. Later, he was referred to the Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.

Mannan was arrested from his home in Shantiganj upazila of Sunamganj on the night of 19 September.
