Ex-President Badruddoza Chowdhury laid to rest

The former president Prof Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury laid to rest at Dayhata village of Majidpur in Sreenagar of Munshiganj district on Sunday afternoon (October 6).

Before his burial, his fourth namaj-e-janaza was held at Doyhata village.

Earlier, his first namaj-e- janaza will be held at 8am today at his own Uttara Women Medical College and Hospital in the capital.

The former president breathed his last at Uttara Women’s College Medical College Hospital on Friday.

He was 94 years old at the time of his passing, leaving behind a legacy of political and medical accomplishments that will be remembered for generations.
