Tapashee Tabassum Urmi, an executive magistrate in the Lalmonirhat district administration, has been made an officer on special duty (OSD) to the Ministry of Public Administration following a post on Facebook.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (October 6).
Lalmonirhat Deputy Commissioner HM Raqib Haider confirmed the matter.
However, the reason behind making her OSD was not mentioned in the notification.
Earlier, Tapashee had made a Facebook post about Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus, sparking a huge criticism.
On Saturday (October 5), Tapashee wrote on Facebook: “The chief adviser of the constitutionally baseless interim government has said a reset button has been pushed. The past is erased. He deleted all the past history of the country by clicking a reset button. So simple. The countdown has begun for you, sir.”
When asked about the post, Tapashee said: “It is true that I shared the post on Facebook. I had set it to ‘only me’ on Facebook, so the transfer could be due to various reasons.”
