Case filed against 7 over Islamic song at Puja Mandap

A case has been filed with Kotwali Police Station in connection with the performing an Islamic song on a stage of Puja Mandap in Chattogram.

Sukanta Bikas Mahajan, treasurer of Metropolitan Puja Parishad, filed the case against seven people including Sajal Dutta, the expelled joint secretary of Puja Parishad, on Friday.

Other accused are six members of Chattogram Cultural Academy and they are Shahidul Karim, Nurul Islam, Abdullah Iqbal, Roni, Golam Mustafa and Md Mamun.

Police arrested two accused in this connection.
