Puja is being celebrated well this year: Home affairs adviser

Home affairs adviser lieutenant general (retired) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said, “Puja is being celebrated well this year. The government has given an allotment of Tk 4 crore for Puja celebrations this year which is highest than previous years.”

He made the comment after visiting several puja mandaps in Munshiganj on Saturday (October 12).

Jahangir Alam said that a huge number of law enforcers including army, RAB, police have been deployed to ensure law and order at the Puja mandap.
