Fire breaks out at Barishal medical college

A fire broke out at the Medicine Unit of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital in Barishal on Sunday (October 13) morning.
On information, eight units of local Fire Service and Civil Defence stations rushed to the spot to douse the flame.
The fire originated at 9 am.
Acting director of Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital Dr Moniruzzaman Shahin confirmed the information.
According to a source at the Fire Service and Civil Defence in Barishal, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and started working to douse the fire. Smoke has spread to the entire building.
Fire service personnel, ansar member and hospital staff were engaged in rescuing the patients.
