BGB repatriates 38 Rohingyas while trying to enter Bangladesh

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has sent back 38 Rohingyas, including children, while attempting to enter Bangladesh through the Naf River on Saturday (October 12) night.

They were sent back from the Keruntali border point of Sadar Union in Teknaf upazila around 9 pm.

The Rohingyas who were sent back to Myanmar included 19 children, 11 women, and eight men.

Lt Col Md Mohiuddin Ahmed, commander of the Teknaf-2 BGB Battalion, confirmed the news.
