Abu Saeed passes 18th teacher registration exam posthumously

Abu Saeed, a student of Begum Rokeya University who was killed during an anti-discrimination student movement, has posthumously passed the 18th Teacher Registration Examination. 

Non-Government Teachers' Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) published the results on Monday.

Abu Saeed's roll number for the exam was 201256297, and the official results website shows that he passed as a teacher in both Bengali and English subjects.

Abu Sayeed, a key coordinator of the student's quota reform movement for civil service jobs at BRUR, led protest from the front during the movement. 

On July 16 last, Sayeed was killed in police firing during the movement. He was buried in Pirganj upazila in the district next day.
