3 of a family killed in Mirsarai road crash

Three members of a family were killed and three other injured in a road accident in Mirsarai of Chattogram on Tuesday noon.

A truck crashed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the Bartakia Khoiyachhora area, leaving its three passengers, including a child, dead on the spot when they were on their way to attend an event in Sitakunda.

The auto-rickshaw got smashed and truck fell into a roadside ditch after the crash, said police and witnesses.

The deceased were identified as Kajol Rekha, 25, her mother Nurjahan, 55, and 7-month-old infant Anas.
