Juba League leader hacked dead in Sitakunda

A Juba League leader named Firoz Khan, 35, has been hacked dead in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram.
The incident took place at Lalanagar village of the upazila on Friday night.
The deceased was the son of late Kamal Uddin at Uttar Kalabari of the upazila. He was the organizing secretary of union Juba League unit.
Officer-in-Charge of Sitakunda Thana Mujibur Rahman confirmed the matter.
The dead body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
According to police and witnesses, Feroz Khan fled his locality after Sheikh Hasina’s fall on August 5.
Miscreants hacked him to death after calling him from a relative’s house.
