Mother-daughter slaughtered in Kutubdia

A woman and her daughter have been slaughtered by miscreants in Kutubdia of Cox’s Bazar.

The incident took place on Friday noon in Shantibazar area of Ali Akbar Dail union of the upazila. 

The deceased was identified as Runa Akhtar, 35, wife of Nurul Absar Sawdagar, and Jajira Akhter, 5.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kutubdia Thana Md Arman Hossain confirmed the matter.

The OC said Nurul Absar Sawdagar saw the two dead bodies at the kitchen after returning from the mosque. Locals informed the police, and they recovered the dead bodies.

Police sent the dead bodies to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Police is trying to arrest the criminals.
