Police Academy serves show cause notices to 59 SIs

The Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda of Rajshahi has served show cause notices to 59 trainee cadet sub-inspectors (SI) over indiscipline during training classes.

The notices were served in two phases last Monday (21 October) and Thursday (24 October) to SIs of 40th Cadet-2023.  

According to Police Academy sources, notices were served to 10 SIs on October 21 and 49 SIs on October 24. 

On behalf of the principal of the academy, signed by Police Super (admin and logistics) Md Tarek Bin Rashid, the notices asked them to give answers within three days.    

According to notices, they created chaos by sitting disorderly during training classes.
