Cyclone Dana causes damages in Patuakhali

Bangladesh remained safe from the impact of Cyclone Dana. But, many damages have been noticed in different areas.

The standing Aman paddy and many houses have been damaged due to the gusty wind caused by the Cyclone ‘Dana’ in Patuakhali district.

Kalapara UNO Rabiul Islam has said we are preparing a list of affected people and it will hand over to the government.

Meanwhile, cyclone ‘Dana’ over North Odisha and adjoining area moved and weakened North-Northwestwards and now lies over the same area as a land depression.

It is likely to move West-Northwestwards further and weaken gradually and will become insignificant, said a Met office bulletin on Saturday (26 October).
