4 killed in road crash in Shariatpur

Four youths were killed when two motorcycles collided head-on in toll plaza area on Jajira Padma Bridge in Shariatpur on Sunday night (November 3).

The deceased were known as Arman Dhali, 18, son of Dadan Dhali, Khidir Madbar, 20, son of Alim Madbar, Nabil Farazi, 18, son of Rubel Farazi, and Sayem, 19, son Eskender Ali.

Local and police sources said the accident took place around 9:00pm, leaving three youths dead on the spot and injured another one. Later, the injured was sent to Dhaka but he succumbed to his injuries.

Confirming the matter, district additional police super (Naria Circle) Ahsan Habib said legal steps will be taken in this regard.
