58 more SIs dismissed from Sarda police academy

58 more cadet sub-inspectors (SI) have been relieved from the Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarda, Rajshahi, on charges of breaching discipline during basic training.

Confirming the matter, Inamul Haque Sagar, additional inspector general (AIG) of the Police Headquarters’ media unit, said: “58 more sub-inspectors have been dismissed from the 40th outsider cadet batch due to breach of discipline.”

Earlier on October 22, some 252 cadet SIs were discharged and 59 cadet SIs were also served show-cause notices on October 25 for creating disorder in training classes.
