Case filed against ex-MP Salam Murshedi, his wife 

A case has been filed against ex-MP of Khulna-4 constituency Abdus Salam Murshedi, his wife Sharmin Salam and 205 leaders and activists of Awami League of Terokhada in Khulna.

Azizul Hakim, a member of Terokhada Upazila BNP, filed the case under Explosive Substances Act on Monday night.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Terokhada Police Station G M Emdadul Haque filed the case. 

According to the case statement, AL men led by ex-MP Salam Murshidi carried out an attack on the motorcade of the then President of Chhatra Dal Azizul Bari Helal in Mokampur Bazar Kheaghat area under Modhupur union in 2018.

The attackers vandalized cars and hurled bombs on the motorcars.
