Throat-slit bodies of 2 youths found in Gazipur

Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of two workers in a flat at Uttarpara area of Kashimpur in Gazipur early Wednesday (Wednesday 6).

The deceased were known as Sufian Ahmed, 23, son of Jafar Ali, and Rasel Mia, 22, of Rabiul Islam. The due were detained around 12:00 am.

Police and local sources said the two victims lived in a flat at level four in the area. They worked in a food packaging factory. The factory officials started an inquiry and found their dead bodies. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent them to Gazipur Shaheed Taj Uddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue.

Kashimpur police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Hanif said investigation is underway in this regard.
