Youth shot dead in Teknaf Rohingya camp

A youth was shot dead by miscreants in Nayapara registrar camp area on Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday (November 10).

The deceased was known as Md Jubayer, 23, son of Md Amin, hailed from block-c.

Teknaf police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Giash Uddin said a group of miscreants opened fire in the camp around 8:00pm, leaving the Rohingya youth bullet injured.

Later, he was taken to hospital but he died on the way to hospital.

Earlier on October 21, three members of a family were killed by miscreants in Ukhiya upazila.
