Workers free Dhaka-M`singh highway after 52 hours

The workers from factories of TNZ Apparels have withdrawn their strike and removed blockade from Dhaka-Mymensingh highway after 52 hours.
Following the assurance of the authority, the workers left the highway around 2:00pm on Monday (November 11).
Gazipur metropolitan police DC (crime north) Nazir Ahmed confirmed the matter.
Earlier on Saturday, the workers started the movement in Maliker Bari area demanding their unpaid wages. Later, around 3,000 workers from five factories of the apparel group joined the protest.
Tongi industrial police additional police super Md Mosharraf Hossain said the Secretary of the Ministry of Labor briefed the workers. Later, the workers decided to withdraw the strike.
