Four crushed under train in Lalmonirhat 

Four people have been crushed under the wheels of a train in Jongra union of Patgram upazila in Lalmonirhat district.

The incident took place on Monday evening when victims were sitting on the tracks. 

The victims were Azizar Rahman, 65, a resident of Nagar village of Jongra union , Mokbul Hossain, 45,  Mobarak Hossain, 55, and Abdul Wahab, 42, at Mominpur village. 

According to locals, a Santahar-bound train ‘Karotoa Express’ from Patgram ran them over as they were sitting on railway tracks, leaving them seriously injured. They were taken to a hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.
