“People will take decision regarding AL ban, not political party”

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said it would not be right for any other political party to give its opinion on banning the Awami League. This is not a political party's decision; it is the people's decision.

Fakhrul said this while addressing reporters at his residence in Thakurgaon on Wednesday (November 13).

He said that the people will decide who will do politics; who will not, and that will be done through elections.

The BNP leader also said that the fascist Awami League has done one thing very successfully. That is, it has divided the nation. We want a united nation by eliminating that division.

Meanwhile, aiming the interim government, BNP Secretary General said those who will be appointed as advisors should not be controversial. The government should keep an eye on this issue.
